Bright Hills, A Mayhem Senior Style Mystery
The storm took out the power. The investigation took out
the neighbors.
When a devastating hurricane cuts off the mountain
community of Bright Hills from the outside world, retired nurse Nesta Trillum
finds herself trapped in a leadership role she never wanted. One of her
neighbors is dead, and it wasn't the storm that killed him.
With cell towers down and the sheriff unreachable, Nesta
has no choice but to investigate. But the deeper she digs, the more dangerous
Bright Hills becomes. Neighbors turn hostile. Someone is watching from the
woods. And every new clue threatens to expose secrets buried for decades.
Ignoring her aching arthritic knee and her growing fear,
Nesta risks trespassing, breaking and entering, and alienating the people she
is trying to protect. What she uncovers, a trail of deception, long-hidden
family betrayals, and a single grainy piece of video evidence, could destroy
Bright Hills long after the storm has passed.
