Ryan Catt, Chief Correctional Cat
Ryan Catt joined Wingo County Sheriff's department when he wandered into the jail looking for scraps. After demonstrating his ability at keeping both mice and prisoners in line, he was hired as Chief Correctional Cat. Ryan enjoys napping, snacking, and chasing small moving objects whether he is on duty or off. Although not currently married, Officer Catt gets along with the ladies real well. Judging from the number of lady cats giving birth in the neighborhood behind the jail, Ryan is believed to be the father of well over a hundred kittens, although he doesn't officially acknowledge any of them.
You'll meet Officer Catt in Glory Road, a Mayhem Senior Style Mystery, my cozy mystery where secrets slink through the shadows and justice sometimes has whiskers. He may not carry a badge, but when things go sideways in Wingo County, he can usually be found napping on the job.
